Mohd Ashraf Alam


Mohd Ashraf Alam, working as Assistant Professor in Integral Institute of Medical Sciences, with specialization in Pharmacology (MBBS, MD) from JN medical College, Aligarh Muslim University, India. Completed his MD(Pharmacology) under the supervision of Professor Rahat Ali Khan. His thesis title was ” To study the effect of Nigella sativa oil as an add-on therapy in addition to alpha-keto analogue of essential amino acids in the conservative management of Chronic Kidney disease” which mainly included patients of Diabetic Nephropathy Hypertensive Nephropathy. I had always a special inclination towards Diabetic research. During his MD thesis, he worked mainly on Patients of Chronic Kidney Disease. He used to classify them from stage 1 to 4 depending on GFR status, and Ultrasound findings. He used to collect their samples at baseline after enrolling them in the study before starting treatment. And then at 4, 8 12 weeks post-treatment. He is a very quick learner and have great exposure to the latest technologies especially in computers and its application. He was also designed my healthcare blog with the name where he used to post medicine updates. It’s been designed and developed exclusively by him. Since he have a very keen interest in Diabetic research, and want to explore more about it, He had also completed online diabetic certification coarse certified by the British Medical Journal and endorsed by Royal College of Physicians to explore more about Diabetes and its treatment.
